New technique
I had to share something I learned at Birds of a Feather last week. Curved cross hatching. I love when you can take a standard pattern/technique and add a twist to it.
This is just a practice piece I put on to try my new ruler. I can't wait for the weekend so I can practice some more.
This quilt was made back in the 90's. I'm thinking some wavy cross hatching will do the trick!! Stay tuned for progress....
I love the movement and depth the curved cross hatching gives to the block. Isn't it great to play with our new toys!
ReplyDeleteYes it is!! Just need to find more time to play!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a neat technique I will need to try on my DSM. "Someday" for the longarm.
